For Clients with Dementia: 10 Areas of Safety

Description
Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 10-11:30 am Eastern Time. Back for a second presentation, we are delighted to welcome Eileen Poiley, M.S. Director of Education from the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute. Ms Poiley's expertise brings enormous value to guardians. We know client safety is a top priority for guardians. Yet, when a client has dementia, there are safety pitfalls and challenges many guardians do not become aware of until the worst has happened. This 90-minute webinar will share a useful list of areas to focus on to prevent bad outcomes when working with clients with cognitive impairment.

This memorable and meaningful learning experience is offered at no charge. Registration is required.

1.5 Guardianship CEUs will be awarded to participants who attend from 10-11:30.
