How thorough is your knowledge of the guardianship principles the CGC consider "Knowledge of the Person?"
Guardians are expected to uncover facets of each clients life, social history, values, needs and special situations in order to create a person-centered plan that will be reported to the court. The skills needed to follow-through on this plan include working within the dynamics of a client’s family, handling challenges from difficult clients, applying guardianship's ethical principles, tailoring decisions for special populations and preventing or reporting abuse, neglect or exploitation.
In this 2-hour training, you will review ways to apply the skills from this important body of knowledge which is likely to make up as much as 17% of your certification exam. Exam-style questions presented in this course can help you prepare for guardianship certification.
