**Recorded live event. You must pass the quiz with a score of 80% to receive 1 CEU from the Center for Guardianship Certification. Please check with your state to determine if this CEU meets your needs.**

Hospice, with its kind, skilled staff, provides essential services for adults during the last 6 months of our lives. Comfort, dignity and a “good death” are among the priorities.

We are honored to welcome Wendy Matthews, Executive Director at JHC Hospice, to share her experience and insights including memorable stories about fulfilling the end-of-life wishes of clients.

Participants will learn:
1. The purpose of Hospice and services that may be offered to an adult whose prognosis includes death within 6 months.
2. When, why and how guardians engage hospice's support for dying clients.
3. How palliative care may be included.
4. Hospice support for family members and guardians.
