WA - Competency 7: Medical Decision-Making Recording + CEU Exam


Description
**Recorded live event. You must pass the quiz with a score of 80% to receive 2 General credits from Washington State. You may also receive 2 Ethics CEU credits from the Center for Guardianship Certification. Please check with your state to determine if these CEU credits meet your needs.**

Per Washington state policy, course credit can only be received once per course per biennial reporting period.

Professionals registered in Washington State must submit a completed Course Attestation Form to us via email or course upload in order to receive credit. The Center for Guardianship Excellence is required to report this form to the state within 30 days of the course. It is entirely your responsibility to complete and return the form before the 30-day deadline. The Center is not responsible if credit is not granted due to a missing or late form.

Medical decisions can be complex and challenging. In this 2-hour training, we explore the guardian’s role and obligations when making decisions about a client’s medical treatment during many different stages of the client’s life or illnesses. Ethics and advocacy will be explored.

This information is likely to make up as much as 14% of your certification exam. Exam-style questions presented in this course can help you prepare for guardianship certification.
