**Recorded live event. You must pass the quiz with a score of 80% to receive 1 CEU from the Center for Guardianship Certification. Please check with your state to determine if this CEU credit meets your needs.**

Participants will learn how anosognosia differs from denial, why insight may fluctuate or be absent due to brain changes, and how this understanding can support more compassionate and effective communication. The session will also explore practical strategies for reducing conflict, preserving dignity, supporting engagement in care, and balancing autonomy with safety.
