Description
"Rounds" is a 1-hour presentation of a case by a guardian with insights to share and a request for ideas from other guardians. Please join us on Thursday October 1, 2026, at 2:30 pm Eastern Time when Guardian, Betsy Frye, presents the case of a young client with advancing Huntington’s Disease living in a facility known for its expertise with this heartbreaking diagnosis.

How does a guardian provide her customarily high level of compassion and support for a client who is bedbound and unable to speak? How does understanding Huntington’s Disease help a guardian to rise to these challenges? Is the staff who sees him daily doing everything possible to enhance this person’s quality of life? And what more can Betsy offer?

The course is offered free of charge. Registration is required. 1 CEU from Center for Guardianship Certification will be awarded.
